The House is Ready for Sale

Of course that is the whole idea and we think that we are going to come out of this pretty much as well off as we hoped that we would be. Marie inherited the place and it did need a good deal of work before we could get a good price for it. That is something you have to be really careful about though, else you end up putting more money in it than you should. I really only had to find this guy to install HVAC near me. In fact I found out in the middle that the guy who came was an old friend of my big brother Lou. He asked me if I knew him right away and then told me that Lou owed him forty two dollars. I was not surprised by this and I told him that if I saw him I would ask Lou about the four hundred dollars that he owes me.

The boys and I started out by cleaning up the mess and doing some demolition. They loved that part of the job. They almost got into a fight over who got to tear things up. Then we went to work on the bathroom and the kitchen, both of which were about forty years out of date and pretty sad looking as well. I only half way knew what I was doing, but it turned out quite well by the time we got done. I did waste a bit of material by not knowing what I was doing at the first. It is always a lot more expensive to learn things the hard way and that is exactly how I was doing it. We still have to finish up the landscaping, which is best left for the spring weather I would think.
