Cult is a word that has been so interesting as this is tailored to so many instances through the course of history, and has been recognized today in a far different manner that how it was in the past. Technically speaking, people sees cults in a different way like how it was seen before but through the years, cults have evolved significantly and is now being seen differently today. One of the destructive practices that you could find today include a strict forbid when it comes to blood transfusions and transplant of organs, which, also is practiced by today’s Jehovah’s Witnesses. The next one that also is among the mainstream today is the Christian Scientists, that also practices similar method, only that they reject medical treatment, which also has led to numerous deaths through the years.
Not only that religious sects practice such but there also are government sectors that you could find today that also seek to practice violent practices to benefit their beliefs. But the thing about such is that not all cults are bound to be violent and destructive as this also depends on their leader’s practice and beliefs.
A good leader in a cult is one that stays with you and answers your questions without having to resort to violent reactions or being judgmental. It should also be that a cult leader is open to having finances discussed respectively and that anything related to finance is liquidated. So in general, a good cult leader actually is one that has a strong background through the years.
